Tuy An Dong Commune Established Under Resolution No. 1660/NQ-UBTVQH Dated June 16, 2025 by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the Administrative Reorganization of Dak Lak Province
The specialized agencies of Tuy An Dong Commune were established under Resolution No. 01/NQ-HDND dated July 1, 2025, by the People’s Council of Tuy An Dong Commune. Tuy An Dong Commune was formed by merging An Ninh Dong Commune, An Ninh Tay Commune, and An Thach Commune of Tuy An District.
From July 1, 2025, the newly merged Tuy An Dong Commune includes:
• An Ninh Dong Commune: natural area of 22.92 km²; population 17,796 people.
• An Ninh Tay Commune: natural area of 12.04 km²; population 15,749 people.
• An Thach Commune: natural area of 11.09 km²; population 6,432 people.
After the merger, Tuy An Dong Commune has a total natural area of 46.05 km² and a population of 39,977 people. The commune borders An Bac Commune to the north, O Loan Lagoon to the south, Binh Ba Commune and Xuan Dai Ward to the west. Within the commune, there are several pagodas and temples, including Chau Lam Pagoda, Ha Yen Pagoda, Thien Ton Pagoda, Lien Tri Pagoda, Co Lam Hoi Ton Pagoda, Thien Hung Pagoda, Thien Phuoc Pagoda, Phat Thanh Pagoda, Hung Thien Pagoda, Long Son Pagoda, Long Phu Pagoda, Bao Son Thien Hai Pagoda, Măng Lăng Church, Moi Church, Hoi Tin Church, and Thach An Holy See.
The headquarters of the Party Committee and People’s Council of the newly established Tuy An Dong Commune are located at the former An Ninh Dong Commune office, while the People’s Committee and Administrative Service Center are located at the former An Ninh Tay Commune office, now the Tuy An Dong Commune People’s Committee, Dak Lak Province.
The Administrative Service Center is responsible for directly receiving and processing administrative procedures, providing necessary facilities for officials, and ensuring smooth communication and working conditions. Local authorities are committed to upgrading essential infrastructure to meet residents’ needs for production and daily life.
The commune plans to develop public works to serve the people, the elderly, and children, including parks, mini football fields, volleyball courts, and roads
